Octogenarian. Born in Coventry (UK) and moved to Rugby, Warwickshire, in 1968. Widower; two adult children and six grandchildren.
Career:
Design/development engineer working in the aerospace and automotive industries until early retirement in year 2000.

Interests:
Sport & politics. Long involvement in voluntary activities, particularly as an organiser of local cycling events. This is the author's first venture into creative writing.
